SAYme (SA Youth Media Education) supports emerging creatives entering the film production and storytelling space.
Using a 'mentor-through-production' approach SAYme develops media literacy and creative expression through film content creation, community engagement and audience development.
The short films on this channel are made in high schools by learners with no prior experience in filmmaking. They are trained and supported by our team throughout the process of production.
SAYme has found the film creation process to be transformational for individuals and communities. We support production and engagement with film and tv through various means and projects including "NabUbomi" Inter-School Film Competitions/Festivals, "Film 4 Life" therapeutic interventions, "Filmic Life" creativity coaching.
