My review for Genshins 5.1 story has finished scripting! Less summarising and more analysing in this one, so stay tuned! I am quite proud of my analysis of this story, especially the more underlooked part of it, like the Oraron section. Coming before the end of the year, so stay tuned! (Also, for fans of Null Genesis, something is coming soon to send off the series with one final bow, so I'm not going back on my word, after this project is over, Null Genesis is getting canceled)

I don't know if this will surprise or shock any of you, but I might just cancel Null Genesis, aka just not make the series a reality (I basically wipe my memory and forget everything I made up about the Null Genesis.) I know this is quite sudden, after all, there have been no Null Genesis posts for months, then come back and say I am cancelling it? So if anyone is intersted, I'll list all my reasons why, and explain in detail in why this reason made me not want to make Null Genesis.
1. I don't like Lexa that much anymore. (Nor any other anime skin in the Null Genesis)
Ever since the start of this year and probably earlier, I've really not liked the Lexa skin, it was pretty ugly and the cell shading was awful, and the more I watched other anime or see other skins, I realised I didn't even find it appealing. The very same with every other skin, Reina's eyes and face looks weird, same with Lennox, Zoe's anatomy is (not) there, and Erisa is the best, but she still isn't as pleasing to look at as Goku Black or Toga.
2. The Null Genesis is kinda shit
The story isn't good, I didn't even plan out the first few arcs and a lot of the pivotal moments are just taken from other shows, it's obvious what level of writer I am when I think back to scenes, like the transformation of Warstirke for the first time is just a copy of the Super Saiyan transformation, down to the death of something Lexa cares for. Not only that, but whole arcs are kinda copies, the 358 arc is just Shinjuku showdown, the Greek arc is just Bleach Soul Society arc, and the Percy Jackson series, clash of the Multiverse arc is just Universal survival arc from DBS, and Null Genesis punishment is just Dragon Ball Super Hero. It's not original at all, and I'm ashamed of doing all this to myself, It's why I'm already rewriting Agmaui Wangjwas's first few arcs because some of it is heavily inspired by Beserk and even Demon Slayer. I don't want one of my works to just be copies of my favourite series and my own original work that people can have fun with.
3. Scaling over story.
When I made Lexa and the Null Genesis, it was undoubtedly more focused on scaling than the actual story being told, I tried to fix it with more arcs like the Abyss Queena arc, but even that has its problems with wanting scale over substance. I would need to restart from scratch and re-think whole new arcs, and I'm not doing that because I don't have fun with the characters anymore.
4. Null Genesis is far too simple.
While the story might be big and massive in scale, it's not like it's actually in-depth or deep like Agmaui Wangjwa is, and my favourite part about media and themes is just wondering about the philosophical side of the message. Having such a straightforward and simple story like Null Genesis, I have realised, isn't something I want. I could use simple writing and tackle big topics, but that's not going to make it stand out or be praised. I don't have the nostalgia that Dragon Ball can bring, nor do I have the writing of One Piece to keep people entertained.
5. Characters and power systems are basically a costume.
Reina is Vegeta or Ichigo, and sometimes Luffy, Lexa is Goku, Itadori, etc., Zoe is just Gohan, and 358 is Sukuna. The list goes on and on, and this just paints a bad picture of my creativity. The Null Genesis, as it is now, is something I would never want to be popular because everyone will just point out the similarities and copies, same with the power system, it's just Dragon Ball's power system. Nothing interesting and nothing new. Again I want to start from scratch if I wanted to make the story, but. the thing is I don't, which is why I haven't done so already.
6. Fanfiction
The title of Fanfiction has always been brought down by the ass writers of the internet, only making it to fit their ocs or make a ship "canon", and I don't want to acclimate myself with that. It's something I've always found issues with and hated from day one of making videos, and honestly, it has just reached a peak this year. not only that, but the story of Null Genesis will really never be "mine." It's gonna be Fortnties, or the guy who first created the character designs characters, never will it ever be an original creation. There will always be a but in that title, correct, Mania and Lilith's designs have obvious inspections, but they aren't official yet and not the final designs I'm going with. Thus, they can be my own thing (the white hair and red eyes stay) I want something I can call my own, say I made this, I created this, this is my work. Not something that I added to someone's work.
7. I don't like Fortnite and even the Lexa community all that much.
They are pretty weird (Fortnite community) and childish, the Lexa community is fine, but. it's always going to be a game associated with a child audience, and I want to tell a story that's far more real and more in-depth for a wider audience than just that. It's why I love Mania and her story, I put real-life thought into it and thought into what I could show to demonstrate her themes and message. I even thought of things as simple as when she would respond to a character, all to tell a very real and very complex message that doesn't have the usual happy ever after meaning other Shoen stories always have.
In conclusion, I just no longer have any love for the characters, games or series anymore, my growth as a writer hates this series past me made up only for scale and power creeping. Thus, I will cancel it and, I'm sure, barely talk about it anymore. If I like Fortnite again, maybe I'll think about picking it back up and starting from scratch, but right now, Null Genesis is on ice. Oh another thing
8. I'll be on break for now
I'm rewriting Aguami Wangjwa and planning on adding more arcs than I already have. After this week, I will realise a new chapter, but after that silence, I won't be realising a chapter every two weeks anymore now. I will use my time to create the best series I can at my current level. By the time I'm back, I promise you, you will have the blood red count arc 2.0 and a whole new arc to enjoy. Chapter 16 of Agmaui Wangjwa is out! finally, after about three weeks of pure silence, I came back with a chapter filled with characterisation and the future of two important main characters. @Cookie-monkie93 this is what real good writing looks like.
