Zach Winters is a naturalistâhis work and life woven together. Wintersâ songs resonate with the sacred and the commonplaceâcompanionship, wrestling with the divine, passing seasons, and the pursuit of some tangible beauty. Over the years, Winters has honed his songwriting + DIY production through 6 full-length albums, as well as a handful of EPs & other projects.
The Winters moved to southern Mexico where he finished Love Is a Gardenâfeaturing Winters' most striking collection of songs to date. A new homemade, luxuriant variety of indie-folkâgenerous string arrangements, groovy bass lines, warm horn sections, and Wintersâ yearning, gentle, and sometimes playful vocal layering.
He has had the honor to sing for Syrian refugees, laboring mothers, orphans in Mexico, monks in Poland, pubs in Northern Ireland, and his friends, neighbors and family. After cancelling all plans in 2020, Zach set to work on Other Sideâwhich will be released in batches through 2021, with touring to follow.
