MANGA ALERT IMPORTANT UPDATE: Hello everyone! Just here to let you know that MANGA ALERT will still be returning this Fall but now with a different format. Similar to the original seasons, each new episode in season 8 will be focused on a single series that we will all have read. First up is My Hero Academia, followed by Jujutsu Kaisen, Dandadan, etc. You can catch up with us if you want to be ready! Stuff like the sales cast will also return this season.
However, the reason I'm making this post and it is taking longer than usual for the season to start is some good and bad news involving our members. On the good side of things, our beloved host Shrug Pod is now married!!! That's right, a Manga Alert host actually found love. We are so proud of him and offer a huge congratulations. As you would expect, he has been quite busy but will be ready to return to the podcast soon.
On the unfortunate side, beloved member of the Manga Alert family Based Sempai is currently in the direct path of Hurricane Milton making landfall in Florida this week. It does not feel right to do a MHA cast without the series' biggest dong rider so we will be waiting for the storm to pass so he can participate. We offer our best wishes to Based and hope he stays safe.

Folks, unfortunately I have to leave town for a bit due to personal reasons and our scheduled podcast won't be coming out now until near the end of the month. Thanks for understanding and it will be worth the wait because be WILL be reading Kagura Bachi. My book channel will keep uploading cause I've filmed some stuff in advance.
