If you've walked about the Masters of the Night Wind, you might have heard of a young storyteller. Selena is the final living member of her family, and she upholds their legacy with hesitatance. Her father was quite the storyteller, but she lacks his flair. She often asks Ixtli to create shadow puppets, but Ixtli often hisses at her in response. However, she refuses to give in. She lives by her father's words:
"When the past is lost, it is our duty as scribes of old to revitalize them."
She understands her stories aren't as interesting as those of the current Archon or the Six Heroes, but she believes they are just as important. They tell of an ancient land beloved by its people.
"Once we embrace our pasts, we begin to forge our futures," is Selena's closing words to her audience each night. "May we tread this path of stars."

A family of night walkers, some call those of the Ajactle name. There isn't a single explanation for their constant presence in the night.
Were they cursed? Were souls haunting their dreams? Perhaps their regrets keep them in a state of wake.
Regardless of the reason, for years, the Ajactle household is the most awake when the sun has fallen despite it being their family crest. It applies to the current oldest child of the family, Ilhuitl.
If you've ever required his help, you may be warned to wait until night and to meet him under the Moon's glow. Even if you encounter Ilhuitl, you must find that he isn't the friendliest soul. Words and empathy escape him. Thus, many avoid him and his family out of fear for their own feelings being hurt.

✧ There was once an amount of respect put upon the Ancient Name of Mlinzi. Emiliano's family has been constant protector of their fellow Natlanese, whether it be from the front or back lines. The most honored family member is Emiliano's mother as well as her trusted companion, Tlapixqui. Only one remains to uphold their broken legacy.
Emiliano upholds his mother's legacy by following it. He guides new warriors and protects his home to the end. He only hopes the Wayob may shine their glory on his family once again. What is a hero without a name?

The Akademiya has no shortage of genius graduates who are from different corners of Teyvat. Ángel Oriana is a strange case, however. A young Haravat graduate who comes from Natlan, quite the closed off nation. No one knows exactly how Ángel left Natlan and made his way to Sumeru. Despite being an Akademiya graduate, you cannot find Ángel hanging around Sumeru city. If you wish to find him, your best bet is in Aaru Village.
