In 1982, KNLC Channel 24, an independent Christian Television station, began broadcasting throughout the St. Louis area.
KNLCās mission over the years has been to provide:
*A Christian voice throughout the STL area through inspirational programming.
*Television entertainment that the entire family can enjoy.
*A voice for the āvoicelessā ā sharing the stories of the poor so their experiences, hopes and dreams will not be forgotten.
*Awareness and advocacy for social and environmental injustices in our local and global communities.
*Fundraising to support the humanitarian work of the New Life Evangelistic Center (www.nlecstl.org).
*Job training to previously homeless persons in: production, videography, editing, and broadcast training.
