Bourgeoisie is the carefully crafted result of a youth in the 80s, and the nostalgic feeling in our gut when we think about our childhood and the environment surrounding us at the time. Bourgeoisies signature sound is fused between a revival of lost music from the 1980s, French disco, and retrospective analog electro.
Bourgeoisie formed over 15 years ago in their hometown of Miami FL. Bourgeoisies music is a mixture of retrospective synth pop, blended with dark cinematic undertones, with thematic influences ranging from Yan Hammer, Giorgio Moroder, Harold Faltermeyer, Vangelis, and Suzanne Ciani, to more rhythmic influences such as New Order, Kano, MCL and a bits of 1980s Breakbeats.
