Hey all. Heads up, I've decided to start uploading some old demos here so they don't get lost on my hard drive. Some of these are from a month or two ago, others are over two years old. I also want to redo the Dimensions map 03 video with more retrospective commentary and better microphone audio. In case you're wondering where that went, I took it down out of caution to avoid a copyright strike from Zach Siegel's midi. Might commentate over some of the other interesting runs too. More stuff to come.

This is a segmented UV-Speed run of Haste, where each player gets to record a map and pass the demo onto the next player. Check it out here! Congrats to all the other runners involved and thanks to mhrz for organizing this thing. It was great to be a part of. We'll probably do some more wads down the road as well.

What are your favorite Doom demos from the past year? It can be anything or as many as you'd like.
If I were forced to pick one, I'd say the recent Doom II UV-Speed TAS by almostmatt1 (youtube.com/watch?v=MzuJCMV4sK8). It's one of the more significant demos of the year, beating the previous run from 2006 by over 4 minutes. This has to be the most insane TAS for doom I've ever seen, period.
Since I'm basically obligated to mention a max demo lol, D5DA2 Map 55 UV-Max by David Asaad (youtube.com/watch?v=8yqu5Ije59Q). Ten thousand attempts do not lie. It takes some guts to try a new run when everyone else around is claiming it to be impossible. In fact, despite the fact that this demo exists, I'd still say this map is not safe for human consumption haha.
When it comes to my own runs, probably FCFF Map 07. I've had some wonderful opportunities to try new runs and experience new maps. The demo and mapset output in general this year has been incredible, thank you doom community 😊. Sorry I can't list them all here, but that's what you guys are for :).
