On the 27th and 28th of Januari the Dutch kendo renmei wil be hosting a iaido and jodo seminar and friendly competition in Amsterdam. The Saturday will be iaido the Sunday will be jodo.
It has always been a fun event. So if you are looking to get some extra practice in from high level European teachers and some competition practice. Consider giving the Ishido Cup your time.

We are Jolanda and Liam. We run a small but enthusiastic iaido dojo in Amersfoort in the Netherlands.
Because we couldn't train together due to the covid-19 pandemic, we decided to post videos for our group. We would also like to try to get others interested in iaido, so we posted them on YouTube openly.
Jolanda is a 5th dan and Liam is a 6th dan iaidoka. We hope you all enjoy.
iaido is the art of drawing the sword. It is practiced using kata(simulated scenarios). As a budo, iaido encourages the development and improvement of the self through practice.
If you manage to look past the poor filming quality and bad music and have become interested in iaido, maybe see if you have a iaido dojo near you.
