Joshua (Josh) Pearl is the Chief Investment Officer and Founder of Hickory Lane Capital Management LP. Prior to founding Hickory Lane, he worked as a Managing Director and Partner at Brahman Capital. Prior to his investing career, he was an investment banker at UBS Investment Bank, Moelis & Company, and Deutsche Bank.
Josh Pearl has co-authored several books on investment banking and investing, including Investment Banking: Valuation, LBOs, M&A, and IPOs and The Little Book of Investing Like the Pros: Five Steps for Picking Stocks. Mr. Pearl attended Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and received a Bachelor of Science in Business in 2003.
