Correction: During the interview, I had a bit of a senior moment and said that my first band, Eclection, was named by Joan Baez. Eclection's name was actually suggested by another extraordinary singer-songwriter, Joni Mitchell. (Because of the eclectic composition of our band: 1 Norwegian, 1 Brit, 2 Australians and 1 North American.)

Georg Kajanus is the creator of the bands Eclection, Sailor, DATA, ...And The Mamluks & Noir.
Georg Kajanus is best known as the lead singer & songwriter for the group Sailor. Their biggest hits were A Glass of Champagne and Girls Girls Girls. GK's compositions have gone to the top of the European charts 28 times in the 1970s, 1990s & in 2008.
GK is currently working on a musical drama called Sailor, conceived for stage and screen, and a classical music project called People Industry.
