Anyway, hello all! It's me again, Joshyso! Hope you all had a good new years!
I know it's been a few weeks since my last update and I don't wanna bore you all, so I'll cut right to the chase here. The Contentment Joshymix BETADCIU is in active production, and so far 4/24 sections have audio done. I'm also currently in the middle of working on the backgrounds and the background elements that'll appear in the cover too; cause I've come up with a few neat ideas for that. This cover will also be the first part of The BETADCIU Series finale, so yeah. Pretty cool.
Once audio's done, I'll get to work on the cutscene animation and after that will be the editing! I hope to have the video done by Spring, if not... oh well!

I'll be working on Contentment Joshymix soon, taking a brief BETADCIU hiatus so I can focus on other stuff. BETADCIUs aren't as fun for me anymore, hence why I'm only doing a few more before I stop doing them.
In the meantime, should I release Kezie's assets for you all to use in covers? I've actually got everything necessary for a sprite showcase that would involve him.

So I've changed my mind about the 100 BETADCIU thing.
There's only three BETADCIUs left now before the series concludes. (the first one is Contentment Joshymix, I won't reveal the other two for now)
i'm really getting tired of producing BETADCIU covers and I don't think I can really continue on with them much longer without having to force myself, but at the same time I don't want to entirely abandon the story I created with Alert - Unbeatable and Diameter.
When I began BETADCIUs back in September 2021, the scope of FNF was quite different. Covers weren't as insane as they are today, and they were simply just fun ways to change up beloved songs; there was also much less going on in the community, so that meant that back in 2021 - early days of 2022 there was essentially no drama in the FNF cover community. The cover community was focused more on making fun videos that people could enjoy and be interested in, and while there's amazing videos being released by amazing people to this day; there's also some betadciu videos that are.. really questionable.
Same can be said with the mods themselves, when I started the controversial mods were few and far between; but that's obviously changed heavily. Heck, a good chunk of my old BETADCIUs (specifically in Season 1) are literally unwatchable to me now due to the character choices in them.
(those who watched Shiny Tech - Omnipresent Noimix may remember a certain controversial mod I used, it goes without saying I regret using that mod.)
You especially saw in the last video when I said it was the last appearance of a certain person's characters, I'm getting kind of tired of seeing all the FNF mod related drama in this community. Looking back on the videos before Unknown Suffering can just.. be a bit much for me at times due to the character choices, I want to move on from BETADCIUs and make better videos.
I never intended for The BETADCIU Series to be... well, a series when it began. They just started out as stupid videos I made in my freetime, and I didn't think about them a whole lot. That's why the earlier ones lack a story, why the mixing in the audio is horrible, why my character choices sucked before Season 2 began.
While I've had fun with a good amount of the BETADCIUs I've made and I'm especially grateful for all the friends I've met over my time of being a cover creator; overall adding everything up it's slowly just become less fun to make these videos. You can probably tell from how long they're taking now, hell Diameter like a month and a half and I edited most of it in the week before it released.
I'm an animator, and I want to focus on BEING an animator; and these BETADCIU videos kind of demotivate me from doing that. So from now on, the final BETDACIUs are going to be VERY few and far between. There'll probably be a gap of like, 3 - 4 months inbetween the releases of each of the final three. Like I said, I don't want to force myself to make these videos anything incredible, so don't expect them to be the best thing ever.
I would like to say this though, I will obviously cherish the time I've spent as a cover creator and all the amazing people I've met through this community. To everyone in the cover community, thank you for being awesome. You're all goated. I'm sorry if anything in this post sounds like I didn't explain it properly. I just wanted to talk about this. Another Diameter update, just finished the Think Paper section! (which to be honest is my favourite so far in terms of editing)
