Dr. Dong-Kyu Lee is an active conductor, educator, and church musician. He is the founding Artistic Director of Seoul Vocal Artists, Associate Conductor of Vocal Ensemble Seoul and Chamber Choir Seoul, and Principal Conductor at Hansung Presbyterian Church, where he also leads the Church Music Academy. He lectures at Yonsei University and Presbyterian University and Theological Seminary.
Dr. Lee has appeared as Guest Associate Conductor with the Hanam Civic Choir and as Guest Conductor with the Bucheon, Wonju, and Paju Civic Chorales. He has received awards in conducting competitions and has presented at major events including the 2020 ACDA Eastern Regional Conference and the Mahidol University Choral Festival. His academic work includes a publication in the Choral Journal (October 2020).
He holds a D.M.A. from the University of Alabama, an M.M. from the University of Louisville, and a B.M. from the Presbyterian University and Theological Seminary.
