Aldert Winkelman | Composer, organist, harpsichordist and choir conductor. He was born in Uitgeest (NL) in 1954 and studied at the Conservatories of Music in Amsterdam and Maastricht and took organ improvisation courses at the Referat Kirchenmusik Erzbistum Köln. He performed in the Netherlands as well as abroad. Aldert Winkelman has recorded 5 gramophone records and 9 compact discs. His compositions include chamber music, organ, piano and vocal works.

Aldert Winkelman (1954-2023) died on 17th February, 2023 in a tragic accident.
