in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
Minor update on VR stuff. I'm nearly finished with recording 3D footage for Sonic Generations, and I'm a little more than half-way through Link's Awakening. Overall, it's been pretty easy to keep ahead since I've beaten these games multiple times. This extra time I have also allowed me to set up and test the next game, Metroid Prime. It's going to be a regular play-through with minimal cuts. For this game, the videos are generally going to be much longer and need a lot more time to process once uploaded. So, the release schedule will be slower, probably once or twice a week. But I think it'll be worth it since a game like this fits naturally with what I'm doing here.
I don't want to do more than two games at a time, so once Link's Awakening is done I'll have some options to choose from, though not everything has been tested yet. The poll kind of shows the most likely candidates based on how interesting I think it'll be to see in VR. I may have enough time to do one or two of out of the list overall, but beyond that I'll probably take a break. if there's enough votes I'll focus on testing that game first and see how it looks and performs.
Echoes of Wisdom: Continuing off of Link's Awakening's momentum with a newer top down entry. (not tested)
Pokemon Arceus: Ambient scenery / lots of action
Street Fighter 6: Watching people punch each other.
Kingdom Hearts 2: You can technically play the whole game in first-person. I could split focus between just bosses and environment footage. (not tested)

I'm sure subscribers have noticed the increase of videos uploaded lately. Autumn and winter is usually the best time to bring more focus on VR. Since I've been busy with that, I’ve decided to reorganize the VR Bunker into more streamlined playlists. Mainly, I separated the Mario and Wario Land videos, while the videos that don’t have enough content to warrant their own playlist, went into a miscellaneous pile. The original VR Bunker is now exclusively for first-person Zelda videos. I also removed a few bad eggs, to make it easier to just casually watch.
I plan to keep up the regular video uploads for the VR content for the time being. Moving from game to game as each one is completed. As for the music arrangements, they’ll be uploaded as soon as they’re ready as usual, with the next one expected in a day or two.

5.1 Surround Sound
Playlist: www.youtube.com/playlist?list...
Over the last couple of a years I've made a few 5.1 Audio tracks of my previous arrangements. Sort of waiting for YouTube to get around to supporting the format. I didn't catch any word of it when it happened, so it flew under the radar for me, and I didn't notice until recently. To explain it quickly; these aren't the original stereo just copied into the other channels, the music was rebuilt with the five speakers in mind.
I only used the TV App to test this. So you'll have to see if the options are available for what you have. I don't think the browser supports it, but YouTube sort of mixes the tracks together for stereo. So you'll hear all the instruments, but it won't sound the same as the original version I made.
> Log in on YouTube > find the video/playlist. > Go to settings tab on the video and enable surround sound if it isn't active already. Maybee like the video if this kind of thing fits your fancy. It definitely feels premium to me, at least in terms of creation.
There's a lot that I think can be done with this, but most my ideas have branched away from video games, and thus this channel. But we'll see how it goes.
I assume most people don't have surround sound, the poll here is just for my own curiosity.

*Original compositions, video game arrangements, and MIDI recording*
If you're subscribed because of my music I recommend having notifications enabled, as these videos will be put onto the subscriber's feed so you'll know exactly when a new track is uploaded. Other videos (Such as VR, etc) won't be.
