Hi guys! I know it's been a while since my last post. I've been in the home stretch of my schoolwork and getting ready for the holidays. I have something exciting I want to share with you guys...
I did it. It took me 3 years, but I did it! I now have ALL the high school credits needed to meet the university admission requirements for Paleontology AND I meet the overall average requirement, too! I'm so happy that this hurdle is now out of the way. I DO have what it takes and I'm so proud that I was able to do this!
So now what? Well, I have to apply somewhere and find out! The University of Alberta is out of the cards, but there are still other schools somewhat near me thay I can study the same program at. Life is often hectic and very hard to juggle so much at once, but I want to tell you that it CAN be done!

Hey guys, I need your help! Hayden's in a baby contest and he needs enough votes to make it to the next round. Voting ends at 10PM EST tonight! If you would like to take a look and vote for this cute little baby, we'd really much appreciate it!

Hey guys! Dad-life is certainly keeping me busy, but I didn't forget about you guys! Ever since last week I wanted to share my thoughts on the first season of Chaos Theory, so here you go! MINOR SPOILER ALERT! READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION.
I loved it! This is exactly what the Jurassic franchise needed and this is what Dominion really should have focused on more. There are 5 big things I enjoyed the most about this season of Chaos Theory:
1) The first thing I really liked was how Chaos Theory is continuing the story with the same characters we followed throughout Camp Cretaceous. Just seeing the Campers again was great, especially Ben; he's quirky and a total goof and I'm ok with that. But beyond that, the story is a great blend of mystery and thrills! The story seems to be a lot bigger than what we've seen so far!
2) When the story wasn't focusing on the overall conspiracy, it constantly focused on the idea of dinosaurs trying to adapt to the world and the conflicts that come from it. The Pachyrhinosaurus appearing hostile when it was just in pain from a human trap... That cheap roadside zoo with the mistreated Stiggies... And the corruption within the DPW, just to name a few examples. These are exactly the kinds of things that would happen between dinosaurs and humans in the world, and they build on the theme of humans exploiting nature. These are the kinds of things I wanted to see explored in Dominion, and while we didn't really get a lot of that in Dominion, we definitely got it in Chaos Theory!
3) The story is dark, mature, intense, and the story is really gripping! I love how there's this huge mystery that seems to go way beyond what we know so far. Sure, it's still technically a family-friendly show, so there are some limitations with what they can show, but for what they did, it was done pretty good. There were lots of moments that really hit my feels; Daniel Kon's sacrifice, and Bumpy's health scare, for example.
4) Bumpy. I knew beforehand, seeing pictures, that Bumpy would appear, but I didn't think she would be in it as much as she was! I thought she might have a short appearance, but she was used well! And that scene where Ben thought she was dying? I couldn't... I like how her story is still continuing as well!
5) there were lots of new dinosaurs featured! I especially liked the Pachyrhinosaurus! Seeing dinosaurs that were in other movies but for the first time as animations, like the Atrociraptors or Stygimoloch was really cool!
I guess the only thing I didn't really like about Chaos Theory was the random romance between Darius and Brooklynn. Even though she and Kenji were split up, it was unexpected that Darius would pursue her so quickly. Yeah it turned out she wasn't interested in that way, but it was certainly a surprise.
Overall, I love Chaos Theory! I hope Season 2 keeps going in this dark, mature direction and I can't wait to see what happens next! What did you think? Talk about it in the comments!

I saw the Wild Roar toys a couple weeks ago at my local WalMart and they look awesome! These pictures do not do these justice as to how great these are! The Pachyrhinosaurus stands out the most for me because of its sculpt, but even better is the rubbery texture of its head! It reminds me of the old-school JP toys from the 90s! I will definitely be looking out for more of these!

Life found the way... again.
Meet Hayden, the newest addition to my family, and Harper's new little brother! Hayden was born on May the 4th (yup, Star Wars day) and looks just like me! It's certainly been a busy time taking care of both him AND Harper, but I'm enjoying it. Welcome to the world, Hayden; I'm excited to be your Dad!

In my opinion, I don't think Brooklynn is dead, but missing or kidnapped. Sure, Jenna Ortega's gotten more and more popular and has a lot of big projects going on, so she may not have been able to commit to the role full-time, but I seriously doubt they'd just kill off Brooklynn with no fanfare. I think there's a surprise in store, and she'll make some kind of cameo near the end. What do you guys think?
