WOW WOW WOW it is an absolutely surreal experience to update you that we have successfully cycled 5,000km from Ireland to Istanbul. It will take me a long time for the reality of that to sink but thank you to everyone who has left such lovely comments and supported me along the way :)

Last I left you I was chilling in Grenoble just 100km from the Italian border. A cake walk/cycle, except for one minor thing.........The Alps.

Week 5 has been our biggest week of cycling in terms of distance and elevation as we climb thousands of metres and cover hundreds of kilometres to finally reach the eastern border of France. It has been formative :)

Week 4 has us battling our way across the Central Massif. An enormous plateau that dominates the centre of France and is home to the Midi-Pyrénées. The weather isn't on our side but our spirits are high :)
