I am an 15 year piano player who hates classical music. I took lessons for a few years to get started, and for the past 11 years I teach myself whatever I want to play. I tend to focus on 'cooler' things such as Movie and TV themes.
If I hear something cool, I'll track down the music and learn it. I know lots of pieces parts of songs, but not too many full complete songs.
Eventually, every song I have complete will be on Youtube. I just need to find good recording locations and good recording equipment (Don't want that dreaded lag)
