I had Eyrie carry his teddy bear in his backpack when he's headed off to school because he naturally wanted to imitate Banjo carrying around Kazooie, like a child copying his parents.
It's also a mirror: Bear (Banjo) carries Bird (Kazooie), Bird (Eyrie) carries Bear (Teddy).
