INTRODUCING A HIGHLY VALUABLE DATA PROFESSIONAL COMMUNITY (BUILD YOUR DATA SKILLS bit.ly/3z0APrl)

It's been a bit challenging for me to make this decision, but I've resolved to launch a NEW COMMUNITY FOR DATA PROFESSIONALS.

When I first started this channel, my aim was simply to turn on the camera and share MY EXPERIENCE about a career in data analytics.

Here, I aim to maintain a casual tone while still DELIVERING VALUABLE INFORMATION that can help individuals kickstart their journey in data analytics. However, I've been overwhelmed by the support I've received on YouTube and LinkedIn.

I've received NUMEROUS MESSAGES from many of you, expressing a desire for a community beyond YouTube, and many have sought MENTORSHIP OR COACHING.

COMMUNITY PORTAL

I conducted a poll a few weeks ago to determine whether LinkedIn, Telegram, or Facebook should host the community. The majority of you chose Telegram. Unfortunately, we won't be using any of those three platforms due to their limitations.

The primary CONSTRAINT is that none of them are specifically designed for building a community where a lot of training materials can be shared in a structured and logical manner.

Instead, I've opted for a platform intentionally and purposefully BUILT FOR COMMUNITY, where interactions are seamless and mobile-friendly and all in one good community experience functionalities. It's a platform that encompasses everything in one place.

This community won't be for everyone; it's tailored for those who are serious and fall into the following categories:

ASPIRING Data Professionals - Individuals looking to embark on a journey to become data analysts, seeking the right coaching and mentorship.

ENTRY LEVEL Data Professionals - Those who have secured a data analytics job and aim to progress to higher-paying roles or need support in settling into their current position.

ESTABLISHED Data Professionals - Professionals seeking a community of data analytics experts where they can be accountable in their professional development.

All three groups above share a common desire: to belong to a community where they can receive support and offer support to others.

Moderating a group like this and offering support, based on my experience and time, will demand much from me, but I believe I am up to the task.

This community will come with a small monthly MEMBERSHIP FEE. I understand that some may prefer it to be free, but unfortunately, you won't find a place offering this level of value for free. That's why it's not for everyone.

I will continue to provide value on this YouTube channel and here in this community. However, the 'BUILD YOUR DATA SKILLS' community will offer even greater value than what's available on YouTube.

The community is now open to anyone interested in joining. Here is the link to join if you are interested bit.ly/3z0APrl

WHAT WILL YOU GET FROM THE COMMUNITY

* Support in learning DATA ANALYTICS TOOLS
* CV/RESUME SUPPORT
* JOB SEARCH ASSISTANCE
* INTERVIEW PREPARATION GUIDANCE
* WEEKLY VIDEO COACHING CALLS - Scheduled sessions where I'll answer your questions.
* A COMMUNITY of LIKE-MINDED INDIVIDUALS working toward common goals.
* NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES
* ACCOUNTABILITY
* FACE-TO-FACE NETWORKING EVENTS (as the community grows)
* I will be available in the community DAILY to offer support and answer questions.
* Occasional guest appearances by CAREER HIGH ACHIEVERS, providing insights and inspiration.

ADDITIONALLY

Next year, 2025, will mark my 20th year of living in the UK, and this year marks 19 years of my office work experience in the UK.
Believe me, I've seen it all when it comes to life in the UK. In fact, I've written a book about my experiences.

You'll benefit from my insights into living and working in the UK. Most of your questions about navigating life in the UK will likely find answers here. I'll also be available to shed light on FAMILY LIFE, PARENTING, LIVING IN THE UK AS AN IMMIGRANT, and FINANCE (not expert financial advice, but useful insights on how money works abroad).

The first 20 PEOPLE to join will receive a LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP FEE of $8 which is about £6 per month. The monthly membership fee will increase after the initial 20 members join.

You can CANCEL your membership ANYTIME with no questions asked.

If you're interested in joining the community, click the link below, and I'll see you in the community portal.

How confident are you in Microsoft Excel functions and formulas? If you are unsatisfied with your ability to use formulas in Excel, pay attention to this playlist. I will add more to the playlist, but you can learn from what is already available in the meantime. www.youtube.com/playlist?list...

DATA ANALYTICS KNOWLEDGE-SHARING COMMUNITY

Hi wonderful people,

I trust you are all keeping well.

Please help complete the poll below.

I started this channel because I thought many immigrants might be looking to transition or switch careers. I thought I could introduce such people to the option of Data Analytics. So far, the feedback has been good, and I wasn't expecting the high level of engagement and kind feedback I have been getting.

My intention wasn't to do anything other than turn the camera on and share my experience. Occasionally, I plan to do some tutorials since Data Analytics requires a lot of technical knowledge.

What most of you might not know is that I have another YouTube channel where I discuss various topics related to Africa. This is because I am passionate about African history, culture, politics, tourism, economy, and infrastructure. On my other channel, I have to do a lot of video editing to make it engaging and retain the audience.

Here, I just want to share knowledge simply! Of course, I am spending my time on this, and if the channel gets monetized, why not? Money is just a reward for offering value. But seriously, I am not that interested in the YouTube analytics of this channel. All I want to do is provide value.

Some of you have suggested to me that it would be a good idea to have a community where we can all share ideas. While this is a good idea, I am skeptical about how much of my time it will take. But thinking about it again, I realized it is not just about me.

We might have people who are already working in analytics join and share their experiences. Even people who are developing their skills in data analytics can contribute knowledge as well. In summary, everyone will contribute to each other's development. Nobody is an island of knowledge.

Pardon me, people who are not Yoruba. In Yoruba language, they say, "Omode gbon, agba gbon, ohun la fi da Ile-Ife" (The young are wise, the elderly are wise, everyone's contributions built Ile-Ife, the origin of the Yoruba people).

I have been thinking about the best platform to use, and my initial thought is to go with LinkedIn, which is mainly for professionals. There is a Group option on LinkedIn that I can set up. Another option is Telegram, and of course, the OG Facebook is also available.

There are also paid platforms that are very good and offer a lot of benefits and features. However, I don't want to commit to any monthly subscriptions, and I don't want to ask anyone for subscription money, other than for one-on-one calls if anyone wants to speak to me privately to discuss interview strategy, CVs, job searches, etc.

Please complete the poll below and let me know which platform you prefer to host the community.

Thank you.
