Bluegrass, old-time, and folk music lovers alike can’t get enough of the Burnett Sisters Band, as NC natives and siblings Anissa, Sophia, and Anneli, and band mate Geary Allen from England are all gifted multi-instrumentalists who are well-known and well-loved in the traditional music circuit across the world. At a typical show, an old-time fiddle tune might be followed by a classic Hank Williams favorite, a driving bluegrass standard, folky original, or a soaring gospel number.

For years, this Billboard charting band has dominated the regional old-time and bluegrass competition circuit. In 2022, TBSB took home the top prize at the Merlefest Band Competition. Most recently, Anissa stole the blue ribbon in old-time fiddle at the renowned 2024 Galax Old-Time Fiddlers Convention and Anneli won first place in folk song against 150+ competitors.
