W. Axl Rose was born in Lafayette, Indiana, USA on February 6, 1962. He is an American musician, known mainly for being the leader, vocalist, pianist and composer of the hard rock band Guns N' Roses. The band had great success around the world in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Located at number twenty-four on the list of "The 100 Greatest Singers of All Time" according to Rolling Stone.
In 2012, Rose was inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame along with his colleagues from the original Guns N' Roses lineup, although he preferred not to attend the event, he released a letter of thanks. Likewise, Rose has been named one of the greatest singers and songwriters of all time by several of his colleagues, critics and media, including Rolling Stone.

According to filmmaker Spike Lee, director of the 2012 documentary “Bad 25,” the chorus “Annie, are you OK?” repeated throughout the song is inspired by the cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) mannequin known as “Resusci Anne.”
Michael Jackson practiced CPR for a while, and the protocol requires asking the patient if they are okay before interventions to determine if they are conscious and to stop the resuscitation if they respond.
Michael thought it was a chorus that melodically fit well into his composition.
