No update tomorrow I’m afraid. I’ve been doing the final cue and it needed serious proofing and double checking as there are many subtle differences between what was recorded and concert versions etc it’s taken many many hours of work already in doing the score then the reduction and then the analysis an I didn’t want to rush such an iconic cue. Will be up next week!

THIS FRIDAY - I'm starting Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope. I've done a few already but will be going chronologically through the film including the new titles (the main titles have been lost/missing for years).
I really look forward to bringing you all the new content.
Thanks SO much for all your support and feedback!

Just a bit of nice news in that a short Super8 film I scored called 'Something Gruesome' is one of the 8 winners of the Straight8 Film Competition - one reel, no editing and all I had to work with was an animatic and a click book to work out the 18fr in the second...never had to use one before!

Check out the competition here. Winners get a film premiere at Cannes as well as the BFI in london and the global live event is on Saturday 3rd June on Livestream.

My cousin Denise told me last Saturday that she heard me on BBC Radio circa 1981 playing the Star Wars Violin Practice Game for a BBC2 TV documentary called Children's parties (part of the long running 40 Minutes documentary).
In it my mum Penny devised a violin practice game that combined my two early loves which was Star Wars and Music (literally nothing has changed) . Have listen whilst the HD version is uploading for this week's Phantom Menace release...
Let me know what you think.
Here are some gems - press cuttings that I wanted to share with you.
The story doesn't quite end there - I tweeted Greg about the fact that that was ME playing and my mum talking about the game so his producer emailed me and I did an interview earlier today for next Saturday's slot (Rewinder BBC Radio 4 at 10:00BST). I had to get the old fiddle out too which was slightly embarrassing as I hadn't played for a couple of years!
Just a bit of a fun rewind to a bygone age!

Finished the End Credits transcription which is important as most of that material is then chopped for the Darth Maul /Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan duel of the fates...coming soon.
There's more 6M4 to come as well as a lot of 6M5. All gets very chopped!
