Augusta has been practicing yoga for years. She learned from the best certified Iyengar yoga teachers. Her passion led her to complete a degree in yoga instruction at Scottsdale C. College. She learned yoga philosophy and history, biomechanics, anatomy, detailed postural alignment, therapeutics and the art of teaching, as well as principles of the breath, meditation, postural sequencing, observation, verbal and physical adjustments, use of voice, and organization of course curriculum. She continued her studies in Yoga Therapy where she learned more in depth emphasis on modifications of Yoga Asana as a way towards healing. Besides her completion in Yoga Therapy, she also has a certification in Prenatal Yoga and Group Lead Exercise Instructor by the American Council on Exercise. She has a Law Degree from Argentina. She is fluent in Spanish, French and English. She has been working as a Social Worker for over 20 years. Augusta maintains her commitment in practice and education in yoga.
