Two weeks ago, I got to visit the Kongo province in the Democratic Republic of Congo for the first time and absolutely loved it! It is unbelievable that Kinshasa is so much more popular despite this province being significantly cleaner, easier to travel in and much safer! My only hope is that our President Felix will bless this province with an international airport asap! It could become a tourism hub very quickly! And also the people in this province are very friendly and way more patient than those in Kinshasa! I was also surprised at how many of them despite having many difficulties in their day to day lives still speak well of President Felix and the changes they have seen him bring about in their province, unlike a lot of people in that popular city 😅! If you can’t tell, I would like to go live in Matadi one day!
I’ve of course recorded a lot of what I saw so please expect some vlogs of the next couple of weeks!

Today is my birthday and every year on my birthday I always aim to do something that I haven't done before, or see something that I haven't seen before. This year, I have simultaneously solved both equations. I'm grateful to God for all that I have been able to do and see in the last (more than 21) years, and excited about what the next (21+) years will bring about. I trust God that it will be even more but even if it is not, I will praise Him with stringed instruments and dances of victory! ✌🏾
