In India still, more than 300 million women and girls rely on old clothes/rags. These alarming statistics calls for an urgent action to spread menstrual health and hygiene practices and ensure easy access to sanitary napkins. Being a basic necessity for female health, we at Oculus aim towards conducting a Free Sanitary pad distribution drive facilitated by TEE FOUNDATION and BLEAD WITH PRIDE
TEE Foundation envisions a world, where the girl child can grow up with dignity, respect, and equality to be a strong woman capable of positive impact on the society. BLEAD WITH PRIDE offers environmental friendly and socially responsible products and inspires the global community to embrace a sustainable lifestyle. Through this drive, we are aiming to distribute free sanitary pads on Sunday, 5th December 2021 at the entrance of Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Bhavan's Campus, Andheri West. Let us all ensure that safe and sustainable menstrual hygiene products are made accessible to all the powerful women out there. We strongly believe that menstrual hygiene is a necessity and not a luxury.
