When I started transcribing back in 2009, I never imagined gaining much of a following--I just wanted to play music that I couldn't find sheets for, and to add to the internet's wealth of free sheets, especially when official VGM arrangements were harder to come by outside of Japan. Fifteen years later, I try to get a little more serious and creative with my music (with encouragement from communities like Pixel Mixers and Dwelling of Duels), but I'm not looking for fame or fortune, and I'm happy to continue maintaining my channel and website this way, with modest attention from people looking for something they've never heard before.
I went on vacation to Japan in October (it was amazing), but I still managed to squeeze out two covers after getting back this week! One just went up and the other will be up this weekend. Thanks again to everyone who listens, watches, or plays. ❤️

You may have heard from some other musicians today that Nintendo suddenly demanded that MusicNotes.com take down all of their Nintendo arrangements. Now, *I* don't use MusicNotes or any website besides my own to share my sheet music, so I am fuzzy on the details of this incident, but this is a painful reminder that all of my sheets and videos are unauthorized and I could be legally required to remove them at any time.
I have a rather small channel and I don't profit off my sheets at all, so hopefully I continue to fly under the radar, but I am shocked that even licensed sheet music was removed under threat of legal action. I don't have many arrangements from Nintendo-owned properties because I focus on less famous games, but sadly I think I will avoid making any new Nintendo covers to be safe. To date, I have not received any takedown requests for my covers or sheets, but I will have no choice but to comply if I do.
My Legend of Zelda 35th anniversary medley "Beginnings and Endings" is one I am particularly proud of. I don't like to fearmonger, but if you want the sheet music, I recommend downloading a copy soon in case Nintendo begins cracking down on fan arrangements everywhere.

Hello, everyone! I noticed that I just reached 400 subscribers! Thank you to everyone who has stuck around or who has joined during my reluctant hiatus. I'm still trying to figure out my computer issues. I hope to get back to proper recording soon!
If you don't follow Dwelling of Duels, well--first of all, you should! But secondly, you probably missed the last live recording I did. I had to record and edit it on my phone, so it's pretty rough, but it's a beautiful little piece. The theme was brevity, so entries couldn't be longer than one minute. I did a short cover of "Sips River" from Chicory, which is a really lovely game. I'd like to do a more complete cover once I get back to my normal recording capabilities. Please give it a listen (and ignore the bad cut in the middle 🙏).
