MEMORY LANE by Mal-o-Maniacs
During the Corona lock downs '20/'21 and '21/'22, MargĂ´t & Loek tried to get rid of the feeling of isolation and boredom with a musical dive into their past. As a duo, they recorded a song in a new arrangement every Sunday in their studio for a total of 22 weeks and released it on YouTube. It was a way to keep in touch with friends, acquaintances and the rest of humanity. The reactions were invariably positive. So they continued to work on their MEMORY LANE, which was getting longer and longer and soon they started performing as a duo named âMal-o-Maniacsâ. They both have a long track record in music. Loek has been a formative member of several bands since the 1960s (including Blues Corporation, Larry Rose Band, Blue Lou & the Headhunters), toured in the U.S. with the American band Tsunami and worked as a sideman for various artists from the U.S. (including Dr. John, Larry Garner, Big Jay Mc Neely, Henry Gray)......................................
