**Quick Update** I have contacted Youtube directly to finally remove the *other* Shawn Lane's musical releases from appearing here on this channel. We use the term "Shawn Lane Memphis" to distinguish this for years and now Youtube has given us a way to communicate what should be here and what shouldn't. It will still be a while before the other Shawn Lane's team figures out their end but until then we wish them well and hopefully this won't be seen as anything other than misorganization on Youtube's part. Thank you and here's to more viral shorts! Please keep sharing these shorts out we have many MANY more to come!

Shawn Lane (March 21, 1963 – September 26, 2003) was an American multi-instrumentalist and composer.
He is best known for his solo album Powers of Ten . The magazine Guitar World wrote, "Few, if any, guitarists can play faster than Lane could, and his arpeggio sweeps and precision-picked lines blasted more rapid-fire notes than the average human mind could comprehend."
