Till the end of the moon really make other S+ dramas look like a joke. That’s how much money is putting through this drama. Their marketing is crazy. Not to mention the money for stage setup, OST, CGI, styling, etc…
It also help that there is no competition from 🍑 and 🐧 at the moms

Feedback of the drama are mixed between good and bad. There are also quite many dramas around the drama. However there is no argument that it has heat and potential to be fire if it continues.
His body figure was my main concern earlier and it’s indeed the biggest con and talk after the drama premiered. I was also worried about the comparison with a demon king last year but fortunately the directions are different : one is shuai, overbearing and powerful , one is pitiful, psycho and real villain. My opinions about it’s importance or drama treatment to BL remain the same. But 👖 might invest in her more after this.
I am waiting for the drama to complete to watch and have only watched cuts here and there. But based on the comments and cuts I have seen, the drama follows the story base with many details changed to make male more pitiful and become the focus of the story, to make female lead weaker and become a less center character by cutting off important character and details and lastly to whitewash the 2nd female lead. Actually it whitewash the male lead too but it’s a given.
The good thing is the changes in the adaption are making the story logical than simply fate in the novel. So people understand and sympathy more for evil characters like male lead and 2nd female lead. In the novel he is a psychopath only cares about power in the beginning and 2nd female lead is bad and selfish since she was a child.
While the views and heat are high, most of viewers are passers-by and drama watcher, the trending topics are also about the outside dramas of the drama, the main leads or drama haven’t able to draw more fans yet. It also doesn’t have the fire signs. I think the main reason is the drama got “hot” due to Youku marketing instead of letting the drama build it own heat like most cases. When TMOPB broadcast, you can feel everyone cares about the drama progress and hot searches are related to drama and very positive. We will wait to see if this drama can build a loyal fanbase for the leads or any actor in the drama, and if it will bring them bonus after the show. There are cases dramas are explosive but the actors don’t get many benefits after all.
But we should be graceful that youku is really putting all their money in TTEOTM. It makes other S+ dramas look like a joke. However I’m not sure if I should appreciate the marketing like their life depends on it though. And their hot searches are … not great.

The premiere episodes broke Hunan record for premieres in 2023. Let’s hope it keep up because Hunan didn’t do well the last 2 years.

SQ looked a lot healthier in this drama than she is now lol. She was quarantined and stuck in Shanghai for 2 months ( the drama filming got delayed and postponed a couple of times due to the pandemic lol)

I can’t believe they just ruined the best and most awaited scene in TTEOTM like that. I don’t even feel much after watching it while I was a mess but was also so satisfied reading this part in the novel.
Basically it’s too long, the characters talks too much (their dialogue wasn’t great either) along bad editing/cutting and execution and changing the story too much. I mean where is the urgency? Where is the line “Don’t be a devil! Be a god!”? Where is my white hair and bloody tears?!? And this should be the 1st time TTJ ever cries but they make him cry like mad in the drama already lol. Maybe I looked forward too much that I’m quite disappointed.
But one thing for sure that people will see how good LYX acting is after this drama. Good for him. After all they made others become tool men and ruin the logic of the story just to sell him and his character lol.
Anyway I feel like reread the novel to wash my eyes and maybe watch the classic jump from TMOPB again. If you never watched Tmopb, go watch the jump. No need to talk and explain too much but that scene hit every right spots and thug your heartstrings. TTEOTM team should have taken notes.

BL acting received quite a bit of criticism in TTEOTM. I do agree she didn’t get there yet in the previous 2 big emotional scenes. But these scenes last night were good and deserves praises.
Let’s keep it up for the tower jump. I’ll look forward to it.

Among my girls, only SQ started off as an idol. Yes, I stanned her since her idols days. And while she is improving and achieving better results as an actress, idol!Victoria is still the God every time she is on stage even if she only performs once or twice per year now lol.
Like I said there are some people who are born for the stages. She is one of them. No matter how long and how not often she performs, as long as she steps on stage, she is shining. No need difficult or impressive dance or song, she has her own stage presence and full control with stability, neatness and gentleness to make her performance unique. Yesterday she appeared on stage with (fake) long hair and everyone went wild. Yup, weibo main #1 hotsearch, douyin #1 hotsearch, bilibili top trending.
Fans and passers- by are begging for a concert but she probably has no time for that with her personality lol. But at least it looks like she is taking a small break from acting for variety shows after 3 years.
