"Introduction to the Preliminary Plans of Jingangshan Buddhist University in Indonesia for 2023
Jingangshan Buddhist University is located on Menjangan Island in the Riau Islands Province of Indonesia. The university campus covers approximately 800 hectares of land with established development rights. This serene environment is free from natural disasters such as typhoons and earthquakes, offering an ideal setting for learning. The International Zen Forest has flourished naturally in this region.
In addition to Jingangshan Buddhist University, the Life Development Zone and the Presidential Residence are currently under construction. There are future plans for a commercial and residential area situated on the picturesque hills. The university will also invite collaboration from various Indonesian provinces to build a Business Inspection and Exhibition Center, which will host business delegations and tourists from around the world. Serving as an international gateway to Indonesia's new capital, this center will allow international visitors to explore Indonesia's resources and engage with business representatives from different provinces all on the accessible Menjangan Island. We look forward to jointly exploring business opportunities and sharing in the achievements of Indonesia's social and economic development over the next 50 years.
This marks the initial phase of the university, and we hope for the support and collaboration of all parties involved in building a century-old institution that combines Buddhist principles with academia. We extend our gratitude for your support and encouragement.

印尼金剛山佛教大學 2023年初步規劃介紹
金剛山佛教大學位於印尼廖內省民丹島。校園周邊約800公頃已經取得土地開發權，這裡沒有颱風和地震等災害，提供學習的理想環境。國際禪林，以自然生態孕育而成。
除了金剛山佛教大學外，生命事業園區與總統行館刻正建設當中。未來也規劃商業住宅區，座落在景觀優美的小山丘上。將邀請印尼各省合作建設商務考察會展中心，以接待世界各地的商務考察與旅遊訪客，做為印尼新首都的國際前哨站，國際訪客可以在四通八達的民丹島上，一次性考察印尼各地資源與接觸各省的商務代表，期待共同探索商機，共享印尼未來50年社會與經濟發展的成果。
這是學校起步階段，期盼各方支持合作，共同創建結合佛法志業與學術的百年事業。感謝大家的支持與鼓勵。

The Water and Land Dharma Assembly, also known as the most grand and significant event in Buddhism, derives its name 'The Grand Assembly for the Universal Deliverance in the Water and Land of the Dharma Realm' to unveil its profound meaning and ceremonial essence.
Meaning of the Water and Land Dharma Assembly:
The Water and Land Dharma Assembly is a large-scale Buddhist gathering centered around the Dharma, aimed at congregating through the Buddha's teachings and ultimate truth. It transcends being merely a feast for sustenance, as its primary purpose is to nourish the soul and propagate the teachings of Buddhism.
Participants of the Water and Land Dharma Assembly:
The Water and Land Dharma Assembly extends a warm welcome to all beings dwelling on land and in water, demonstrating its inclusivity and equality. In the present day, consideration is also given to aerial beings, hence it can be referred to as the 'Water, Land, and Air Dharma Assembly.' In the past, similar Grand Assemblies were conducted to universally deliver all sentient beings within the Dharma realm.
Origins of the Water and Land Dharma Assembly:
The history of the Water and Land Dharma Assembly can be traced back to the era of Emperor Wu of the Liang Dynasty. Emperor Wu, along with the Zen Master Baozhi, amalgamated various ritual procedures, leading to the inaugural event held at the Jinshan Temple in China. This event, which aimed to universally deliver sentient beings and benefit both the living and deceased, serves as a paradigm for Buddhist assemblies.
Ceremonies and Scale of the Water and Land Dharma Assembly:
Temples conducting the Water and Land Dharma Assembly must adhere to specific standards, including the presence of seven altars and a hundred ordained monks. Typically, the assembly spans several days to reach its full culmination. During this period, participants recite sutras and engage in various ceremonial practices. Each day includes three instances of reading and dedicating merits to all realms, reflecting the collective nature of the assembly.
Spiritual Essence of the Water and Land Dharma Assembly:
At the core of the Water and Land Dharma Assembly lies the principles of offering, generosity, and spiritual purification. It is not a transactional event but a profound act of universal benevolence. The primary objective is to bestow benefits upon sentient beings and lead them towards liberation.
In summary, the Water and Land Dharma Assembly, centered around the Dharma, is an embodiment of boundless compassion and aims to alleviate suffering for all sentient beings. Participation in this assembly requires devout intentions and profound spiritual cultivation.

水陸法會是佛教中最盛大且最重要的法會，其名稱「法界聖凡水陸普度大齋勝會」揭示了其深遠的意義和儀式內容。
水陸法會的意義：
水陸法會是以法為核心的大型法會，旨在以佛法和真理聚會，不僅是飲食的齋會，更是供養心靈和傳播佛法的場合。
水陸法會對象：
水陸法會歡迎所有陸地和水中的眾生參加，體現了法會的普及性和平等性。現今也應考慮到空中的眾生，可以稱之為「水陸空」法會。在過去，類似的普度大會用以普渡法界中的所有眾生。
水陸法會的起源：
水陸法會的歷史追溯到梁武帝時代，梁武帝與寶誌禪師綜合儀軌，首次在中國的金山寺舉辦，廣度有情，成為佛教法會的典範。
水陸法會的儀式和規模：
舉辦水陸法會的道場必須滿足一定標準，如具備壇口、僧眾等。法會通常需要數日才能完成，參與者諷誦經典，進行各種法會儀式，每天有三次總回向壇宣讀文疏，回向所積累的功德。
水陸法會的精神：
水陸法會的核心價值在於供養、布施和淨化心靈，不是交易，目的是廣施慈悲，使眾生受益並得到解脫。
總之，水陸法會以法為核心，廣施慈悲，旨在幫助眾生，是佛教法會中的至高無上，參與需要虔誠的發心和深厚的修行。

上宗下仰 法師簡介
法師極具善根，於禪修颇有體悟，曾每日潛修逾八小時，尚未出家時，恭讀楞嚴經，頓悟佛法的深奧，繼而參加蓮因寺上懺下雲老和尚之大專齋戒學會，薰習戒學。隨後參訪名山大川各寺院，尋訪善知識深研佛法，曾閉關禪修多次，出關後，又深研戒律，亦參訪四大名山及印度聖地，受歷代高僧大德的承蒙啟迪，前後斷食閉關五次，皆有不同成果。
隨後，因為與百位僧眾研討華嚴經的因緣而出家，受過藏傳及北傳三壇大戒。
最近十年，曾於印尼雅加達、巴里島、廖內等群島，以及馬來西亞檳城、柔佛、北馬地區各佛教會，開示講經。法緣殊勝利益當地的居民。
師父對大乘經教非常通達深廣，於般若經典有甚深的領悟參究。尤其是對於華嚴經、圓覺經、楞嚴經等大乘經典，更有精湛的詮釋。師父講經，常以[貫攝常法]的方式來講解經典，令人印象深刻法喜充滿。十多年來，師父在台灣、大陸及東南亞地區宣揚佛法。
在印尼廖內建立金剛山佛教總會和本願寺，在馬來西亞檳城則有摩尼禪苑、地藏寶殿、香雲精舍。法師的悲願深切憫念眾生，為了讓大眾能夠認知正確的佛法，以及培育更多的弘法人才，續佛慧命，不忍聖教衰，目前正籌備興建印尼金剛山宗教大學，帶領僧俗二眾解行並重，發菩提心， 自行化他，祈願一切眾生皆能離苦得樂，正法久住。
