Thank you for visiting the Hudson shoe store website. My name is Rui Murakami, the second owner of the restaurant.
Hudson Shoe Store has been repairing shoes in Yokohama for 60 years from 1961 (Showa 36) to the present.
The shoe repair industry has also become more mechanized, and the number of shoe repair shops run by shoemakers has decreased. However, there are people who need the skills to repair shoes that can only be done manually.
At Hudson Shoe Store, we take pride and commitment in that niche place, work, and properly inherit the technology to work on the development of the shoe industry.
And I hope that many smiles will be born from this small shoe store.
