I didnāt think I would have to write this, but sometimes I forget Youtube doesnāt have an age requirement lol, and apparently Iāve started something thatās gotten out of hand.
Years ago I would turn up the water pressure on some toilets to make them flush better, and maybe a few urinals too. But only blowout/siphonic ones really. What I would NOT do is turn them way too high to where they would overflow and flood the bathroom. Doing this on purpose and then repeatedly flushing it to cause more of a mess in a public setting is VANDALISM and should NOT be done by anyone and the entire community should not condone these actions by all means. This includes over pressuring toilets too. Oh, and writing in the description that āit was how I found it I didnāt use a screwdriver at allā is such bullshit and as someone who now works in a maintenance department for a large facility, we know what weāre doing and we wouldnāt leave any plumbing fixtures with their pressure set too high.
You guys know who you are. And for everyone else, we should shun the individuals in the community who do this because frankly it is completely disrespectful among many things

In typical toiletROC fashionā¦ Iāve had another technological failure lol. the drive with all my videos from the past month+ has just totally failed. Unless I can extract the data some other way, theyāre gone forever. It may be a while before you see another upload from me again, folks š«”
In other news, I had a meet up with K of K today. Iām writing this here because now I donāt have any of the videos to upload and write in the descriptions. We visited a few Michigan state park restrooms, as well as a couple older restrooms at Boyne Mtn. But sadly you all will never get to see the videos I took todayā¦ Overall, it was fun! While the fun lasted till until nowā¦

Jackpot! At the Meriden Enterprise building, Meriden Connecticut. Videos soon to come.
I seem to be having excellent luck at old factory buildings turned into business incubators in the New England area; first Eastworks in Easthampton, and then the old mill complex in Worcester and now this. I hope this luck continues as I would like to get out to some more including the Colt complex in Hartford and mill race in Lawrence MA!

The first true āvery rareā vintage toilets I ever got to film were a trio of Case Trojan flushometer toilets. I first filmed them around Christmas 2017 but the current video of them was taken in 2018, video #6. To be specific on the location, they are located in the sole bathroom inside the original base lodge at Mad River Glen ski resort in Vermont. The history page on their website indicates it was built at the start of the ski resort, which was constructed in 1948. The lodge, named the ābaseboxā, received a total renovation in 2020 that I actually just learned about. So unfortunately, these are more likely than not gone now. The plan did indicate the addition of new restrooms since they were needed for capacity, which I agree with, but the renovation of the existing ones wasnāt as necessary
The reason I write about this now is because I did plan to revisit the place, maybe later this winter, to visit and record those toilets again. Sadly,it seems that wonāt become a reality. The only other restroom with flush toilets at this ski hill is in another lodge that was renovated in 2001, with an 2001 Eljer toilet and another trough urinal original to the 1968 build

A janky Hobby Lobby restroom
The original toilets were replaced at some point with some modern Kohler toilets. Then after that, new flooring was layed down right over the old one. Then after that, the Kohler toilet in the handicap stall was replaced by a new AS. The Kohler has a larger base then the AS so you can see the old floor in the gap around it lol
