I have been revived from the dead to give my thoughts on Phighter 15. Spoilers Incoming:
COIL HAS BEEN DIRECTLY TEASED SINCE APRIL FOOLS THATS ACTUALLY SO COOL. l love how the devs made us think that he was going to replace Zuka as the player's ingame driving as a way to PRESUMABLY redirect attention away from the possibility of Coil ACTUALLY becoming a Phighter himself, it's so clever and devious. BUT I'm going to try to convince you guys that he was teased a lot EARLIER than just this year, so...
The BEST part about this is that it reveals who "the guy skateboard is hiding in his basement" is. If you all remember from that one video showcasing all the Phighter's telephone dialogue before it was removed, when you used the telephone as Skateboard, Broker, the caller on the other side of the phone, mentions that he is aware that Skateboard is "hiding someone". Some guy in the comments of that video literally started a whole meme about Skateboard presumably "hiding someone in his basement". We all had our speculations regarding this, yes, but the trailer confirms that COIL is the one who Skateboard has hidden from everyone this whole time.
How you may ask? Well for starters, Coil is heavily implied to be some sort of "outlaw", and while he seemingly isn't on traitor level or any level identical to the Teal Trio's (Medkit, Scythe, Broker) level of 'outlaw', we could assume at the very least that he is wanted for criminal reasons—said reasons being that he must've stolen some "crystal" power source from BlackRock (once again, as implied by the trailer) which made him be viewed by Blackrock, or at least particularly SUBSPACE as a criminal who needs locking up.
We don't know the reasons for Coil stealing crystals obviously, but I suppose we can assume that he wants to use them to enhance himself. Hell, even one of his HORNS is made out of a crystal (when you see his Phinisher activated, only his ORANGE horn is glowing which implies that the BLUE horn doesn't belong to him biologically).
But anyway, Coil's whole situation with being viewed as an "outlaw" by at least Blackrock means that he needs SOME sort of protection, and this is where the whole silly meme with Skateboard comes in.
Skateboard and Coil know each other, that's a given at this point with how Coil treats Skate within the trailer. We can assume that Skateboard, now canonically confirmed to be the "leader of a skateboard gang" used his influence or whatever is akin to that to help hide Coil from the authorities, or more specifically Subspace whether because Skateboard sees him as useful or if he just wanted to help out a friend.
How Coil and Skate know each other is easy to explain—why? Because they're from the same faction, Playground. I mean this could be stretching things but it's pretty obvious that Coil HAS to be from playground, there's no other implication that he's from any other faction seeing as he PHIGHTS in the Skatepark map and has a gear that could be logically concluded to be associated with Playground due to its real life usage as a toy or mainly an object of enjoyment (once again, just a stretch). Coil might also be a Blackrock traitor like Medkit, but tbh that theory holds barely any water at this moment.
I also ADORE the parallels between Coil's and Scythe's reveal because, according to what I have deduced, not only where they were both INDIRECTLY teased through Broker's telephone dialogue (search up the video for confirmation I'm too lazy to put the link lol) but they were released RIGHT AFTER EACH OTHER!!! That's so epic.
It is currently 5am and I HAVE to go to school before 7am for a very important event, but I just HAD to write my thoughts down because I am just so excited 😭. I literally only watched the trailer a few minutes ago LMAO. For my viewers that are wondering when I'll be posting again, that may be next month because the QNA has been hard to commit to due to SCHOOL and I don't wanna upload any dubs before I finish the QNA. Man I really want to get into journaling for my school, but there's a lot of factors that make me hesitant on doing so—and on top of that, I also want to have the time to make VA stuff since I suspect that my duties as a Journalist may extend towards the weekends.
It's a prrrretty tough choice but I'll let you guys know if I follow up on any of my pondering decisions.

• Slingshot, ironically, is allergic to eggs and is mildly lactose intolerant despite his profession as a baker. His egg allergies weren't as bad at first, but as he immersed himself more in his hobby and career of baking pastries and the like, his body began to develop a sour reaction towards eggs due his constant indirect consumption of them (—giving him itchy rashes and and impulsive skin biting). Slingshot has also been lactose intolerant for the majority of his life, but this has barely stopped him from enjoying what he loves to do.
—Inspired by how actual cats react to eggs and dairy
• Slingshot likes cheese, but can rarely enjoy it without taking a dump afterwards. He enjoys the strong, aromatic flavor of parmesan.
• When he was young, Sling always played hopscotch with the other young demons in his town. He was the best at it.
• Sling hates the taste of pickles.
• Subspace occassionally buys certain poisonous herbs from Vinestaff. Vinestaff doesnt know why, but Subspace insists it's because his profession requires the use of natural poisons (which isn't entirely a lie, but he actually uses the herbs to convert them into a sort of drug that helps to numb the pain from his rotting body. Basically using them as painkillers)
• Shuriken and Slingshot—on occasions where they're feeling silly—practice their mobility and aiming skills respectively by having Slingshot shooting tomatoes at Shuriken with Shuriken attempting to dodge them—much to Vinestaff's dismay.
• Katana sometimes goes out of his way to help Vinestaff tend to her plants whenever he notices her doing so. Katana tries to deny his true intentions for this when confronted about it and claims that he only does it for the gardening experience when he is in fact, just very lonely.
• Medkit gets into heated discussions about his opinions on food he deems "childish".
• Boombox tries to host epic music parties on all of his friend's birthdays—including Medkit's.
• Medkit sometimes tries to immerse himself in casual conversation with his patients when he gets the chance, but he often comes off too intimidating or cynical to really get anyone to talk to him in the manner he wants them to.
• Rocket gets himself into unprovoked street phights with other demons when he can't find an outlet for his anger but Sword often manages to find and stop him before Rocket inflicts or sustains serious damage on himself.

Crackhead Phighting theory:
What if the Broker plush ISNT jokingly alluding to the release date of the Hollow Knight sequel 'Silksong', but is INSTEAD hinting at the release date of the new Crossroads lobby and is just using Silksong as a placeholder to keep the leak about the lobby's release date subtle in order to not draw any suspicion towards the date itself and what it could potentially imply whatsoever?????

cheesy's weekly headcanon dump #3 I guess:
- Rocket often threatens to inflict pain on Broker in order to have him stay away from him and Zuka when he gets the chance. Broker always has to remind him that he doesn't feel pain, but he does it in such a nonchalant and silly manner that Rocket never really picks up on the implication.
- Vinestaff makes side-income from selling the plants that she unintentionally grows. She doesn't make much money from this, but she occassionally uses the money that she earns to pay for the things that she wants.
- Shuriken also makes side-income, although this is from selling the trinkets he "steals" from thieves who have previously stolen them from dead demons. Although he sometimes keeps these trinkets for himself, an example of one of them was a gear that he took from Broker when he was preparing to sell it to another demon. The gear in question is a Bloxy Cola, but rather than use it for any means, Shuriken instead just keeps it up for display in the room he shares with Vinestaff and Slingshot. Shuriken spends the money he earns from stealing on food and "ninja clothes".
- Slingshot likes to use fruits and vegetables grown from Vinestaff's plants as substitutes for meat-based flavoring in commissioned vegan pastries.
