Positioned below the forthcoming ID.2all, which is set to debut in 2026 with a base price under €25,000, the ID.1 aims to make electric mobility more accessible to a broader audience. Both models will utilize Volkswagen's MEB Entry platform, a streamlined version of their modular electric drive system, designed to support affordable EVs.
The teaser image reveals a compact hatchback design featuring rectangular headlamps with 3D LED lighting signatures, an illuminated VW logo, and a muscular front bumper with sculpted fenders. This design approach suggests a modern and robust aesthetic for the upcoming EV.
