Dr. Yaba Blay is an âIndependent Peopleâs Workerâ who works in service of Black liberation every day. A scholar-activist, cultural worker, and occasional writer, her practice centers body and beauty practices, and the global lived experiences of Blackness, particularly those of Black women and girls.
