Imagine an AR user which takes 2secs to kill meets a Shotty user which 2shots at close. You'd think that the shotty user should win on small places, and the AR user should win on big spaces, but why exactly?
There are 2 ideas to this: *Counting* and *Chasing* .
*Counting* , what i like to call It, is the punishing thing that comes up so often when It comes to twitch guns. See, on big spaces, the AR user has ton of room to dodge, and so does the Shotty user from them, HOWEVER, every single Shotty shot can take a big chunk of HP, while the AR user can spray, with a miss being a nuisance. On *SMALL* spaces, tho, there's no room to dodge, leaving both more vulnerable, but missing with the ST is just a skill issue at that point, so the AR dies since they have less DPS.
*Chasing*, is how close the ST user can get to the AR without dying. It's why fast bois so often have low range weapons . While the Scout has little HP, he's *_FAST_* , and while the Heavy is so slow, he's a *_TANK_*.
