This channel has been created to share with you middle eastern drumming and Reda Darwish's passion for these intricate rhythms and music. It is his hope that this channel will inspire you to explore the joy of arabic rhythms and participate in the journey of rhythm and pulse.
Reda was born in Cairo Egypt and began drumming at a very early age. Before coming to the united states, he performed with the Hani Mehanna Orchestra around the middle east. He played bongos in this orchestra. He shares his love of playing middle eastern rhythms on bongos with you as well as the doumbek and framedrum. You are invited to learn to drum and discover the rhythms that have been played across the sands of time.
