Adam has worked in dance music for just shy of 30 yrs, playing clubs & fests alike globally. A known pioneer of Afrohouse, he has focuses solely in this space for almost 2 decades. He notably launched the globally known dance party ‘Uhuru Afrika’ in 2008 focusing specifically on curating a space for (what years later would become labeled as) ‘Afrohouse’ and setting the stage for it’s subsequent global explosion as promoter, tastemaker, DJ and talent buyer for this party that has seen residencies in Boston, NYC, Mexico and Los Angeles as well as collaborative events worldwide. He used this event to feature emerging talent in this not yet named genre with the music he played, but also in the artists he booked to preform with him including seasoned Afro rooted artists like Ron Trent, Rich Medina and Osunlade but also emerging talent such as Black Coffee (in 2010), Culoe de Song (in 2011), Boddhi Satva (in 2009). Some of which were properly touring the US for the first time.
