Hej hej! Finally there is a New ‘August’ Video Online 🌻🤗. Summertime has been very busy for me while having 2 jobs at the same time. So I took the time to film a Quiet day in my life during a day off 🧡 and brought the camera into the vegetable garden 🏡🥦🍅🥕

It has been a busy couple of days during Midsommardagen at work. I am happy we also managed to get the new video online. So this morning I feel tired, but satisfied. My body wants to stay in rest mode while my mind is still spinning. The ToDo list is repeating over and over in my head, but I also know that today I need to take time to relax, maybe ‘zone-out’ in the garden or take a walk with Daisy. I noticed doing my t-rex arm while working and it made me insecure. I do not want to show it to people, but I also know we all have our vulnerabilities, so I try to accept this #neurodiversity symptom ☺️
Lately I’ve reading more about it and while looking back at my past, I noticed that it all comes together. Since I’m being alone for most of the time here in Sweden, the mirror is automatically more pressend than ever before. But it is also a wonderful opportunity to really look at the puzzles pieces and put it all together ❤️❤️❤️
Maybe someday I will actually be diagnosed with the possibility I have ADHD, on the other hand 😉 I know the stamp doesn’t really matter. Love Elcke

Before I start filming, I always take the time to carefully consider which items I want to feature. Sometimes it takes a bit of effort to get everything just right, but I believe that the end result is worth it. Whether it's a vintage clothing item or a unique piece of decor, incorporating old and used items into the filming process adds an extra layer of creativity ☺️🤎

🐿️ There is something special about finding treasure in what others consider trash. As I dug through the dirt and debris, I couldn't help but wonder what stories these bottles held. Perhaps they were once used for special occasions, or maybe they were simply used for everyday purposes. Regardless of their history, I knew I wanted to give them a new purpose. After a good cleaning, I filled them with dried ferns.
Every time I look at these bottles, I am reminded of the beauty that can be found in unexpected places. It's a reminder to be creative and resourceful, and to always keep an open mind. Who knows what other treasures are waiting to be found?

Hej hej, my name is Elcke and together with my two loved ones I emigrated from the Netherlands to the beautiful south of Sweden, which is called Småland. By buying a 19th century cottage (a soldattorpet) in the middle of the Swedish forest we made the decision to live a bit more slow and more in line with nature. By filming our daily life and our adventures we hope to bring you a moment of zen, enjoyment and the time to sit back and relax.
