Here's your reminder to not fit a cheap no-name drive in a PC.
The Amazon prebuilt that was gifted to me in 2023 has always had trouble booting thanks to the cheap no-name NVMe, but started crashing recently with varying error codes. This time though, since it's relating to the file system, it's very safe to say that the NVMe on it's way to catastrophically failing after just one year and 2000 hours of use.
I have everything cloned onto another SSD which is hooked up to the PC, and everything I do on my PC is autosaving onto other drives, so I'm fully prepared for the pending catastrophic failure to happen at any moment, however I'm hanging it out on this drive to see just how long is left, and what the failure will look like.
Buy drives from reputable brands, and avoid prebuilts entirely!

I apologise for the lack of an end-of-year video, however I had quite a lot going on in the weeks running up to the end of the year, and limited opportunities to record voiceovers, meaning I just abandoned the ideas I had in the end.
2025 has already started much better for me than 2024 did, so I'm hoping that things continue this way. It's also looking like this channel is going to grow significantly this year.
