Hello just a quick note to let people know I've been very busy in real life and work and just have not had time to make videos! What started as "I need another week" has gone on for a few weeks now, and I think it might be a few weeks yet before I've got my next video out. I am, however, playing through Yar's Rising and more Sky Frizz along with Haunted House, Savage Halloween, and several others that I will be making videos on.
I'm also headed out for a camping trip with my son, VCS along with us like last year when we had fun playing Star Shooter 16. But, that trip alone will take up about 8 days here so no videos then. Thank you for your support!

Just a reminder that this is a deliberately no-profit channel, so don't expect to see any monetization on my part. I suppose if I ever hit hundreds of thousands of subscribers I'd be a fool not to reconsider this choice, but for now at least I'm not trading viewer ads for pennies. :)

The Avian Knights tournament was really great, and I've been riding the high of my second place win for a while now. :) Thank you to everyone who cheered me or anyone in the tournament on, was a great VCS meetup as well.
On the channel side, I'm next working on Montezuma's Revenge, which was a personal favorite back in the day on the Apple IIe (on a copied floppy, of course...but I bought this game now. :) ) Then it'll either be Neo Sprint or Qomp2. It's possible Qomp2 might be given to me from Atari's PR peeps, if so I'll make sure to note it in the video.

On Saturday January 27th I'll be competing in the Avian Knights World Championship in Utah for a chance to snag that $10k 1st place prize. 🙂
I started playing the game in May and turns out I am good at it, ended the year in the #2 world leaderboard spot. Being flown out to Utah by the tournament organizers to compete! Should be a really unique, fun, and interesting experience, and a chance to hang out with other Atari VCS fans as we've got most of the leaderboard covered.
You can watch me compete! Tournament will be streamed on Twitch.tv/Alan1Gaming - I'd love to have some "cheerleaders" in chat!
