Colonial Kenya's "Happy Valley," scene of extramarital affairs and sex parties/orgies, and an interesting part of the 1987 movie "White Mischief," related to this:
Kenya was a British colony from 1920 to 1963, and the 1982 book "White Mischief" by James Fox, and the 1987 movie "White Mischief" starring Greta Scacchi and Charles Dance, are about alcohol, extramarital affairs and sex parties/orgies among some wealthy White settlers in Colonial Kenya, mischief that chiefly took place in what was known as "Happy Valley" located in the Wanjohi Valley of what is today known as Nyandarua County, Kenya. In Colonial Kenya though, Nyandarua County, Kenya, was known as the Aberdares, was a Whites only farming area, and part of what was known back then as the "White Highlands." The Aberdares/Nyandarua County were a strategic part of the Kenya colony, signified by the fact that when Britain's Queen Elizabeth (The Queen Mother), visited the Kenya colony in February 1959, part of her Kenyan tour was a trip to the Aberdares/Nyandarua County.

Colonial Kenya's "Happy Valley" is no less a topic of discussion and interest today in 2025, than the 29 other individuals mentioned above, and/or history the 29 individuals mentioned above are linked to.
With regard to Colonial Kenya's "Happy Valley," Josslyn Victor Hay (Lord Erroll), was found shot dead in the early morning of 24th January 1941 in well-to-do suburb known as Karen, in Kenya's capital city of Nairobi. Josslyn Victor Hay (Lord Erroll) had been having an affair with Diana Caldwell (1913 to 1987), at the time Diana, Lady Broughton, and later, Diana, Lady Delamere.
Related to the murder of Josslyn Victor Hay (Lord Erroll), there is a scene in the 1987 movie "White Mischief" where Alice de Janze (played by Sarah Miles), in the company of three other women who have gone to the mortuary to view Lord Erroll's body, reaches under her dress with her right hand, rubs her vagina, and then proceeds to rub her right hand on the face of the deceased Lord Erroll, as she utters the words "Now you are mine forever, Joss." Charles Dance acts as Josslyn Victor Hay (Lord Erroll) in the 1987 movie "White Mischief."
If this actually happened, is unclear. A collage of the scene is down below

"Harambee" means "Working together for the common good," in the Kiswahili language of East and Central Africa. The origin of the word "Harambee" though, is skilled workers from India, who helped construct the Kenya - Uganda Railway Line between 1896 and 1901
