Oh wow, I didn't realize I was getting close to 5,000! I can't thank you all enough for the amazing support. Reading your comments is seriously the best part of my day.

I know I've been a bit MIA, but I’ll be back soon. I’ve been deep into my MFA classes (in Screenwriting) and taking some much-needed time off this summer.

As a Film & TV Producer, I have always had an eye on the Telly Awards, which recognize outstanding work in long and short-form television. The winners' work is always so inspiring!

As time has passed, the award categories have expanded to include online content. So this year, on a whim, I entered my YouTube channel (DIY Film with Merle Becker) in the running. And guess what.... I won a silver!!

I'm so honored to be recognized alongside other winners like Paramount Pictures, and HGTV (gulp) 😳. Thank you @TellyAwards!!

And most of all, thank you to you, my subscribers. You are constantly inspiring me to keep pushing, creating, and doing my best! 🙏🎉🥂

No, I didn't fall off the edge of the earth. 🌎 I just started a new job (teaching full time), and these last few weeks have been suuuuper busy.

I promise I'll be back once I get things in order. Promise!

Hi Friends, I'm still working on this week's video, It might be up this weekend or next week.. It's been a bit of a challenge working in my studio with the heat here in New York. (And not great air conditioning in that room). But hopefully, we'll have some relief soon. 🙏🙂
