Somewhere between Hip-Hop, Rock and the heart of Vienna you can find the newcomers "Hidden Gemz": the young band effortlessly manages to combine different elements from various corners of the music cosmos - the Falter immediately calls this "Hip-Hop without genre purism".
The Gemz combine hip hop, funkiness & melodic licks, have already played their way onto big stages (Flex, Kultursommer Wien) in recent months with their smooth-stable & highly energetic live performances - and were therefore not without reason invited to the Waves Vienna Festival even before the release of their first single.
Currently the 4-piece band consisting of Didier Kurazikubone (vocals), David Murg (bass, keys, vocals), Mateo Schmid (electric guitar) and Jonas Strondl (drums) is working on their first EP, the first single will be released in October 2023.
