Kumar, Mc and musical producer, began his career in the hip hop movement in Havana, Cuba, at the end of the 90s. He is one of those artists who emanates a special brightness on the stage, a mystic who takes possession of the ambience when he glides on it; with a broken, rhythmic voice and a melodious Afro-Cuban accent, he invokes his ancestors in his songs. As a craftsman of the word, with his verses, he interweaves images that induce us to open our minds, to get connected, awaken our being, and raise our voice!!!.
With the characteristics of a rapper, his music is cooked on a machine and flavored with ethnic, acoustic, analogical and digital instruments under the influences of Afrojazz, reggae, funk, electronics and, especially, Cuban traditional and folkloric music.
His performance is a blow of energy; as possessed by drums, he improvises, tells folkloric stories, and dances while making people dance . In his concerts one can breathe happiness, complicity and multiculturalism
