Dark Centre promotes astrophotography. Sharing skills and knowledge, demonstrating processes and showcasing capabilities to enable others to capture the cosmos.

A network of telescopes are currently under construction, once complete, observing run footage and images captured will be presented. Pilots are being filmed utilising the first (and smallest) of the network, with the addition of the first 14" lx200 immanent, a second is also due by the end of 2014.

Dark Centre is here to help anyone that wants to image the night sky, from wide field night landscapes to research grade optics.

We are currently filming reviews and creating tutorials for astronomy related products to reduce the guess work required when purchasing equipment.
