Quoi de 9 ? was born from French collective artists and music lovers called 9eme Concept. The idea of sharing this love has resulted in the creation of a concept of « parties with friends". These meetings were an opportunity to get some news, musical and friendly, to share their discoveries and have a good time. First conceived as « evening parties » scheduled every 9th of month, during which the randomly selected DJs were only instructed to play 9 tracks. Since 2012, the concept « Quoi de 9 ? » has evolved into a podcast, recorded at the 9th Concept’s workshop in Montreuil (France), and broadcasted on a specific website www.quoide9.org .
