I've made a lot of wrong decisions in my life. I've done things that you would think I would never do. I struggled with things I thought I would never come back from and I'm still struggling now. It's crazy how we deliberately do things to our body that is not good for us. I've realized that no matter how much I fight to be a good person, I am not good. Only God is good. In him, there's a (goodness) that no-one can replicate. A goodness that is pure with no blemishes, no factitiousness, or human error but devine truth. In Jesus Christ I am made new. In jesus I strive for better. In Jesus, I want to do better. In Jesus, I can actually be better. In Jesus, he helps me be better. In Jesus I find that there is true peace and comfort. In Jesus, I make progress every single day. In Jesus, I repent everyday because I see that he is my other half, the portion that completes me. The portion that humanity is missing. The portion that the world can't offer. His words bring light into my heart and mind. I finally realize that he is the antidote to my emptiness that I keep filling with self-destructive habits. He is the antidote to this force that keeps pulling me back into darkness. I must never forget what Jesus has done for me. I must never let a day go by without reading the Bible.
