Hey, so YouTube is being weird and deleted all my timestamps from my mixes, including the old playlists from my previous YouTube era. This is happening to multiple channels and it’s seems independent from your view or subscriber count.

Yeah, a Reddit post, but any other source will just say you wrote it wrong and need to fix your stamps (cause Google is also weird and you have to dig for your answers).
The timestamps are always in the description from upload, but this sucks because it does affect view count. Some people this happens to have their views drop a lot and have videos recommended to subscribers and returning viewers only and the algorithm seems to “blacklist” them until it suddenly doesn’t.

I intended to upload a random mix of songs I used to listen to alongside Maidcore Mix 5. However, the test playlist I had unlisted for a week did not get copyright blocked at all. However, once made public, blocked. And get this: the second unlisted one was fine, intended to keep it unlisted just to share with friends and family, but the moment I posted it in one of my channel comments, blocked immediately. Mind you, blocks of this nature are determined by some algorithm that lets some channels upload the same songs but doesn’t allow others.

The thing that worked for my channel in the past was either random music (not from famous titles or anything with a big copyright company behind it) or game OSTs (cause if you copyrighted that, gameplay videos would suffer).
Oh yeah and the power went out today and my potato laptop decided to have its second coma.
Eh, if it comes down to be just spamming Maidcore and game OSTs, I don’t care how it looks or if I “post too much.” Hobby is to see people happy.
